    Neyius Mobile is seeking a talented Lead Software Engineer to join the Engineering Team! Individual reports to Senior Manager, Engineering. Role is remote - must reside in the United States.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    As a Lead Engineer, you are someone who loves working on solutions to tough problems that exist throughout our industry. You are hungry to learn new technologies and are always looking for ways to improve. As the lead you will be responsible for owning and dictating the direction of multiple services, applications and libraries; most of which the whole engineering organization utilizes. These range from serverless event systems to a microservice contract testing library (think Pact, but subjectively better). 

    Your usual day of awesomeness includes:  

    • Software Design and Development of prototypes and tools that cross full stack - from UI, DevOps, Backend, Data Services, etc.
    • Monitor SLAs/SLOs/SLIs of your products and ensure they are hitting goals.
    • Design and implement POCs and demo them to the team and stakeholders.
    • Continually work on identifying technical debt within owned services and develop plans to address them.
    • Lead a team of direct reports responsible for delivering projects that enable new features and functionality.

    • Qualifications 


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
    • Preferably 4+ years of experience in Software Development.
    • Well-versed in software pattern and software design.
    • Has full understanding of SDLC processes and helping extend SDLC.
    • Programming language polyglot, experience with multiple languages and to know which is the best for the job.
    • Skillful in Unit Testing and BDD.
    • Highly motivated self-learner.
    • Savvy in NOSQL and multiple OLTP databases.
    • Strong skills in Queues, PubSub and Data Streaming - for example: SQS/SNS, Kafka.

    Audio Engineer | Neyius Media | Raleigh NC

     



    Neyius Media is searching for a multi-faceted theatre event technician adept at sound engineering and audiovisuals with strong organizational and people skills to join our event team. This full-time, salaried position will find you working on a range of projects including live shows and events produced on campus and a variety of touring productions presented in the Neyius Media, across the country, and parts of Canada. Responsibilities include mix engineering, monitor engineering, setting up and maintaining audio and video equipment, enhancing audio with appropriate sound effects, fixing sound-related issues, working with producers, singers, musicians, performers, and speakers, and completing projects to specifications. You will provide creative input and follow plans and instructions from others, including occasional guest sound designers.

    To be successful in this position, you should demonstrate patience, time management, attention to detail, and great interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate they can think on their feet, learn from mistakes, and make effective recommendations.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    * Meeting with clients to determine the physical and sound requirements and specifications of live performances and recordings.
    * Safely setting up, repairing, servicing, and replacing equipment when required in collaboration with other members of Neyius Media team including (not limited to): audio, video, lighting, staging, rigging, and fall protection.
    * Mixing, manipulating, and enhancing live and recorded audio to client specifications.
    * Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment.
    * Understanding briefs and making helpful suggestions if possible and appropriate.
    * Oversee performance advance process, backline requirements, and other equipment fulfillment for all Neyius Media professional series performances.
    * Keeping abreast of advancements in the field through ongoing training and networking with others in the industry.
    * Maintaining clean and orderly work areas including performance and backstage spaces, technical control areas and all storage.
    * Ensuring proper safety measures are in place and followed in accordance with the EPA, USITT, and OSHA standards .
    * Coordinating and executing emergency evacuation plans when necessary.
    * Building solid, professional relationships with colleagues, other artists, and clients.

    General Requirements / Qualifications

    * Demonstrated experience as a sound engineer.
    * Bachelor's degree and/or an equivalent combination of education and professional sound engineering experience.
    * Experience mixing live concerts and theatrical productions, specifically large-scale musicals.
    * Comprehensive knowledge of large format line array systems, digital audio mixing consoles (Yamaha QL and CL series preferred), networking as it pertains to audio, video, and lighting signal flows, Dante, and Qlab.
    * Record of participation in audiovisual projects is advantageous.
    * Practical experience with recording, editing, and mixing software.
    * A good ear and creative spirit.
    * Ability to follow instructions and remain professional under pressure.
    * Sound troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

    Physical Demands

    The physical demands to successfully perform the essential functions of this job will require you to:

    * Regularly stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

    Duties & Responsibilities



    • Be a trusted and valued business partner to the CFO and other executive and functional leaders. Work in a team environment and at times act as bridge between other management executives

    • Work closely with CFO and other teammates to achieve company objectives, control costs, develop and/or monitor business performance metrics, and enable business growth and expansion

    • Oversee all accounting operations including supervising accounting staff and developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures

    • Partner with Operations and Finance leaders and teammates to ensure cost accounting/revenue recognition is in accordance with GAAP or applicable international standards

    • Ensure efficient and effective performance in all aspects of finance and accounting and act as the month- and year-end close czar by setting expectations, establishing a continuous improvement standard around controls and processes, and meeting or exceeding financial reporting deadlines

    • Maintain internal controls over processes that affect financial & related reporting, including but not limited to, ensuring all transactions are recorded in a timely manner and properly valued; unrecorded items are properly accrued; all recorded and accrued items are real; and all recorded and accrued items are properly classified and disclosed

    • Prepare and review monthly reconciliations including analysis of all balance sheet accounts and income statement accounts

    • Efficiently manage the administrative functions of the company, including finance and accounting systems

    • Assist in developing, analyzing, and presenting consolidated and consolidating financial reports in an accurate and timely manner, clearly communicating monthly and annual financial statements, providing accurate, concise and insightful reporting and forecasting of the financial position of the company

    • Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors, ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax and regulatory agencies

    • Help manage third-party relationships with lenders including preparation of bank covenants and monthly lender packages

    • Oversee accounting and financial integration activities related to potential M&A activities

    • Provide oversight to hiring, training, and retaining of skilled accounting staff

    • Provide ad hoc financial reporting to management as requested

    Requirements & Qualifications



    • Audit, compliance, general ledger, financial reporting, and acquisition accounting experience strongly preferred

    • Prior experience as a Controller and working with a private equity owned company strongly preferred

    • Track-record of success leading the accounting function at a fast paced, high growth provider healthcare services companies with strong preference

    • Proven ability to transition a growing company to new processes and structure to ensure compliance and effective operations and controls

    • Strong preference to have working knowledge of several ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is a plus

    Reporting to the Vice President and Chief Communications & Marketing Officer, the Associate Vice President of Marketing provides leadership, sets marketing strategy, and leads and champions alignment across The Courtney Jordan Foundation. This position will establish a long-term marketing strategy that aligns with the foundation's strategic goals, focusing on delivering a unified, branded customer experience fueled by research, data, and integrated marketing communications. Working alongside colleagues in research, analytics, and the digital campus, the Associate Vice President is charged with exploring new markets, audiences, and pathways to increase The Courtney Jordan Foundation's national and international reputation and drive revenue growth through areas such as enrollment. The AVP will provide influence and lead collaboration across a diverse set of departments, many of which have their own marketers.

    The ideal candidate for this position is a passionate and driven leader who is experienced in higher education (or related areas) marketing and brand strategy. The AVP will be charged with translating this spirit into all facets of marketing communications, including but not limited to digital, traditional, paid, earned, and social media.     Key Responsibilities:

    Experience in leadership roles in marketing, brand management, advertising, or related fields, including experience leading enterprise-wide brand strategies. Demonstrated experience directing, managing, and supervising marketing or creative teams. Experience managing budgets.
